CAMP 2010

1. Provisional Dates, 28th June to 2nd July 2010.

2. C+ and B Test Training will take place in Camp.

3. D and D+ Tests in Camp, C Test will take place on Saturday 3rd July (day after Camp),

MID-TERM QUIZ AND SOCIAL EVENING

1. Venue, The Lodge, Mallow.

2. Date:  Monday 15th February 2010, 7.30pm.  Contact Liz 087 7516882 for more details.

MID-TERM BEGINNERS/D’s RALLY

1. Tuesday February 16th 2010, time 11.00am at Heather Barnby’s, Buttevant.

2. Book in with Heather Barnby on 087 6744445.

HUNTER TRIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS 2010

1. Members who are considering taking part in the IPC Hunter Trial Championships should attend the local hunter

trials for training purposes with your prospective team partner/s.

2. Local Hunter Trial Dates:  Feb 28th Aghabullogue, March 7th Kilguilkey House, March 14th Kilbrin, March 28th Kil-

guilkey House, April 4th Aghabullogue.

GENERAL NEWS/INFORMATION

1. The club is looking for rally venues, if you can assist please contact Liz O’Meara on 087 7516882.

2. We hope to enter a team for the Musical Ride at the Festival in July.  If interested in participating, please contact

Mary Claire Healy on 086 6061710.

3. The club is organising a Combined Training League (Dressage & Show Jumping) on a monthly basis commencing in

the Spring.  The league will be used in the team selection process for the Festival and Championships.

4. Early season show jumping training is being held every Wednesday night at the Maryville Equestrian Centre in

Carrigaline.

5. Please check the website for Tack Sheets 2010 (Very important to have the proper tack (Horse & Rider) for the

various disciplines and competitions).

6. Duhallow Hunt Ball, Saturday 13 February 2010, Springfort Hall. Tickets at a premium.  All welcome. Contact

Deirdre at 086 2474559.  If you pre-book a table of 10, you get one ticket free.

7. Irish Pony Club Annual Conference 2010, Monday 15th March in South Court Hotel, Raheen, Co. Limerick.

8. Congratulations to club members Isabelle O’Meara, Shannon Maguire and Chris O’Donovan team members for

Windsor,  Wales and Northern Ireland international mounted games competitions.

 

MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL 2010

1. Membership Renewals and Rally fees are now overdue.  Members for 2010 were to be registered with the IPC

by the 14 January 2010.

2. Membership Renewal Forms are to be forwarded with subscription (€105 per member plus €60 per member

for three rallies) to Katie O’Leary, Annagh, Churchtown, Mallow, Co Cork immediately.

3. The committee will strive to keep costs as low as possible for members during the coming year.

4. Rally Record Cards will be issued for 2010.

CROSS COUNTRY RALLIES

1. Saturday 6th March 2010, Tom Healy’s Aghabullogue, weather permitting.  Book in with Catherine Healy  086

2. Saturday 13th March 2010, Danny Dulohery’s Cecilstown, weather permitting.  Book in with Mick Falvey 086

3. All rally fees have to be paid to the treasurer in advance, they will not be accepted on the day.

4. Attendance will be recorded on your rally card.

ROAD SAFETY TRAINING

1. If you are taking the C+ Test, you must first complete the Road Safety Test.

2. Please book in with Mick Falvey 086 1547310 if you are interested in taking the Road Safety Test.
